So instead of some crazy lab looking habitat they created a fun kid friendly insect habitat.The agreed on a Farm looking design that would keep the interest of children and came up with the name, “Ant Farm.” (Now, “Ant Farm” is a registered trademark.)   Now we see ant farms for sale throughout the world.
