I have a gel Ant farm. What should i do when the ants die?

Typically when your insects expire the colony will bring the guys up to the top of the ant habitat.

This allows you to remove them so they do not mold up.  You can put the unit in the fridge for about 30 minutes to slow down the colony. After 30 minutes have passed scrape off the top layer of dead ants.
